On 7 April 2026, the Liberian Investigator published a commentary by Country Director Reuben Reeves, "Letters to Strangers Liberia (L2SLiberia): Building a Mental Health System from the Ground".
The article reported more than 140,000 calls received from across Liberia and Africa, more than 5,000 referrals made and 75 clinicians trained. It also described the Call Management System, which assesses, categorises and routes every contact.
